Nord_
Nord is a onemanproject from Lobith, Holland formed in 2006 by frostite. 4 albums are released so far: BLACK DIMENSIONS from 2006, with three parts: Winter/Avond/Nacht. This album contains songs from different recording sessions from 2004, 2005 en 2006. In 2008 the second album came out and is called DOOD, a concept album about death coming from the cosmos to earth to take away someone's life. Januari 2009 VAARWEL was released, a very necro sounding album with the same concept as DOOD, only now seen through the eyes of death. It was recored and mixed in only two days. Autumn 2009: ALS EEN ZIEL came out and is the coldest album so far, it contains the typical nord sound of the first three albums but with more variation. May 2010: the fifth album is just recorded and mixed, there are no titles yet, but the music is bases on dark, cold melodies with simple fast drums. The release will be within a month or two. All nord albums so far, were recorded on a analoque 4track recorder, and mixed with a small mixer. The instruments that were used are mainly bass, clean and distorted, drums, accordion, and some little clean parts on electric guitar. Also all artwork was made by himself and to keep it pure, he tried to avoid computers as much as possible in recording, mixing and artwork.
